Add functionality to your Echo™ Product with Modules

Modules:

Echo Modules add functionality to your Echo installation.

Modules to Support Paperless Activities

Clinical Privileges Portal
The Provider Assessment Portal provides a paperless process where reviewers of the initial and recredendialing provider files can review an electronic profile, write comments, grant or comment on clinical privileges, and take action on the file.

DEA
Connect your Pharmacy and other departments to a specially designed web page that includes DEA schedules, numbers and physician signatures - all available online at a click of a button.

EchoPSV
EchoPSV (primary source verification) module accelerates the credentialing timeline by automatically connecting and retrieving information from various websites that offer verification information. EchoPSV uses HTTPS technology to securely obtain PSV for acceptance and review by staff.

EchoConnect
Allows you to offer an online application through a secure website; then review and download the data electronically, eliminating manual data entry of provider information.

Electronic Attachment (OCR) Module
The OCR module is designed for organizations with larger provider databases that need an efficient method to scan and attach documents that do not include postmaster (barcode) numbers, such as applications, licenses or documents. When a document is returned, the client attaches a numeric label, enters the number into the provider record, and scans the document. The OCR module automatically attaches the scanned image to the provider file and updates the provider record.

Hands-Free NPDB - Auto Module
For clients with large provider databases, the NPDB Auto module bypasses IQRS to directly connect to the NPDB/HIPDB via IPT, (ICD Transfer Program). Through electronic transaction file submission, the data is formatted to meet the NPDB requirements and an electronic query is sent. The NPDB Auto module retrieves and receives a complete electronic version of the NPDB report that is automatically stored in each provider's record, eliminating manual handling. The base Echo system provides access to the NPDB and HIPDB using IQRS submission functionality.

Provider Assessment Portal
The Provider Assessment Portal provides a paperless process where reviewers of the initial and recredendialing provider files can review an electronic profile, write comments, grant or comment on clinical privileges, and take action on the file.

Provider Directories
EchoNet online provider referral directories link your organization to your consumers and patients. There are many selection choices that can be made available including specialty, gender, insurance participation, zip code, clinical interests and foreign languages spoken to allow consumers to select providers that best meet their needs. Individual profiles that outline your staff's professional background and training are available for consumer review. Out-of-date paper directories are replaced with 'real-time' information for your consumers and other entities.

Provider Profiles
Use EchoNet to share customized provider profiles with selected departments. The profile page can be customized to include any data element stored in Echo. Typically these pages include photographs, address information including pager numbers, department assignments, staff categories and covering providers

Third Party "auto-verify"
This feature allows other organizations to self-query for provider verification. Verification letter templates can include any item of your choice. Additionally, logic can be used to "flag" records where a telephone call or letter is indicated rather than an automatic response.
