Consult/Physician-to-Physician Referrals - The Consult module of Sharp Focus captures and channels physician-to-physician consultation and referrals to your institution's medical staff specialists. Telephone Triage Based Primary Care Assessment
Physician-authored adult and pediatric protocols are designed for screening--not diagnosis.  They provide an online mechanism to determine appropriate levels of care.

Clinical Protocol/Triage - Designed by The Cleveland Clinic Foundation, the Protocol module of Sharp Focus is a primary care assessment tool.  A program used by your registered nurses to triage symptom-based complaints, provide health information, education and prevention, manage chronic diseases, and supply provider and healthcare referrals. The system gives you local control over demand management for your health plan members. The Clinical Protocol module is designed for screening--not diagnosis.  It provides an online mechanism for nurses to determine appropriate levels of care.

Education, Prevention and Disease Management
Online health information provides topics and prescription drug references at your fingertips. All materials can be printed and sent via facsimile or mail for reinforcement.

ClinicalAdvisor - ClinicalAdvisor provides online health information on medical topics and medications. ClinicalAdvisor furnishes up-to-date and comprehensive information for healthcare organizations to deliver to their consumer. It is a powerful addition to any health information and referral service.

CareAdvisor - When it comes to patient and consumer satisfaction, readily available health information that is easily accessible, sets you apart from your competitors. The CareAdvisor Audio Health Information System module empowers patients and managed care members to make informed healthcare decisions by providing immediate access to information they need via telephone, interactive voice response (IVR) technology, and on the Web through MP3 audio and text. With over 540 prerecorded topics and fax-back features, the CareAdvisor system allows your nurses to "off-load" health information calls to focus on those which may be life threatening.
