HealthLineSystems' 2006 Client Recognition
Award honors Georgetown University Hospital
San Diego, California, July 14, 2006 -
HealthLineSystems, Inc. is pleased
to announce that its contact center Client
Advisory Panel has selected Georgetown
University Hospital (GUH) as the 2006 winner
of the prestigious Client Recognition Award.
This award recognizes contribution to a health
care organization through the use of Sharp
Focus® or EchoAccessT healthcare
contact center software. Criteria for selection
include interventions clearly related to the
software, measurable financial impact, and
applicability for other healthcare contact
centers to raise the standard of practice for
the industry.
For 2006, the Cleveland ClinicNurse On Call
contact center was recognized with honorable
mention. The recipient of the 2005 Client
Recognition Award was Emory Healthcare in
Atlanta. The 2004 award honored Sharp HealthCare
in San Diego.
Georgetown University Hospital utilized the
Physician Consult Module in Sharp Focus to track
the origin of patients transferred and to report
on the downstream financial impact. The result?
Over thirteen hundred patients were transported
to GUH for needed clinical services during
fiscal 2005. For fiscal 2006, over seventeen
hundred patients were transported. GUH has now
received transfers from over 160 referring
hospitals in twenty states and six foreign
countries. Dr. Joy Drass, Hospital President,
remarked: "The referral center is a valued
resource to connect patients with the vital care
they require at Georgetown University Hospital."

Referral, accepted the award on behalf of
Georgetown University Hospital.
Cleveland
Clinic received honorable mention.
Charlene Williams, RN, Manager of the
Nurse-On-Call contact center accepted the
recognition.
Vivian Winter, Director of the Referral Center at Georgetown
University Hospital, accepted this recognition at
HealthLineSystems' recent client dinner in
Atlanta. She said: "With the resources of Sharp Focus and
our referral team's passion for service, the results are
extraordinary." Vivian and her team were honored with an
engraved crystal award to the applause of
HealthLine clients.
