New Peer Review Module in the Echo
Credentialing Software Suite
April 20, 2006 --
HealthLine Systems is pleased to
announce the development of a new module to support Peer Review
activities in Echo. The module was previewed via a web
conference on Wednesday, April 12th and attendees indicated that
the module would support many of their peer review processes.
The module will be available with the release of Version 3.5
later this spring.
Our goal is to provide our clients with tools proven to automate
and streamline processes," explains Dan Littrell. "The release
of the Peer Review module provides ground breaking integration
of provider data that can be used to improve quality while
lowering costs.
The Peer Review Module uses multiple sources of performance data
to support performance measurement improvement activities and
regulatory compliance. Multiple peer review processes can be
designed, developed and employed across the enterprise or
facility. Peer review administrators define the elements to be
tracked and measured providing maximum flexibility.
Data entry is streamlined and records can be attached to either
provider or patient records. Data can be imported from
third-party legacy systems, eliminating manual keying. Fields
are available to capture dates, table values and an unlimited
amount of text. Links to scanned images such as hard copy
documentation are also available.
All peer review information is accessible for reporting
including Excel spreadsheets for three dimensional charts for
aggregate data reporting. Listing and one-click “worklists”
identify areas that require action or follow-up. The Peer Review
module supports your state and federal compliance activities by
providing a standardized process from initiation to conclusion.
